Attracting investments, foreign and domestic, is one of Georgia’s key priorities to promote sustainable economic development. The objective of this Investor Targeting Strategy (ITS) is to analyze three priority sectors—Apparel, Tourism and Agribusiness—that have been selected based on EPI’s Sector Assessment and to develop promotional strategies based upon comparative and competitive advantages and unique value propositions for each individual sector or subsector for proactive investment promotion. The outcome of this analysis is the identification of the key elements required to design pro-active, sector-specific investment promotion strategies, including: the articulation of a clear value proposition, embodying Georgia’s comparative and competitive advantages in the selected sector.
